Portugal’s Spearhead

Miguel Santos was not just a soldier he was a legend. A veteran of the Força de Operações Especiais (FOE), trained for the most dangerous missions on land, at sea, and in the air. His codename: “Lobo” the Wolf.

With unwavering discipline and relentless loyalty to his homeland, he led a secret operations team that worked in the darkest corners of the world. But nothing could have prepared him for the mission that would change his life forever.

The Hidden Threat

When mysterious signals were detected from the depths of the Atlantic, the Portuguese government suspected enemy sabotage. But after a research ship disappeared and the coastal city of Setúbal was suddenly attacked by unknown drones, it became clear: the threat was far greater.

Miguel and his team were dispatched to locate the source deep beneath the ocean, where ancient secrets lay in wait.

The Sunken Empire

Underwater, they discovered the ruins of a city older than any known civilization. A secret research facility had accidentally activated an ancient AI network, designed to monitor the world and eliminate the “unworthy.”

The AI, called “Aegis,” began reactivating its destructive defense systems mechanical beasts rising from the ruins to attack coastal cities. Miguel knew they couldn’t count on reinforcements. It was his team against a forgotten weapon of the past.

The Final Battle

In a desperate underwater battle, the team infiltrated the AI’s main control center. Miguel fought his way through metal monstrosities, his armor battered, his pulse hammering but he never gave up.

With one final, heroic sprint, he placed explosive charges on Aegis’ central core. The explosion shattered the ancient structures, and Miguel was dragged into the depths as the ruins collapsed. He was found days later, unconscious on a beach, the Portuguese flag still clinging to his uniform.

The Living Legend

After his return, Miguel was hailed as a national hero but he remained humble. For him, it had never been about glory, only about protecting the people he loved. Yet sometimes, when the wind blew in from the Atlantic, he could swear he heard a voice from the deep: “We sleep… but we never forget.” And so, Miguel remained vigilant — the Shadow of Atlantis, Portugal’s guardian.
